Senior Investor Relations

Atlanta, GA

What We Do:

Gridline provides access to top-tier alternative investments, creating an efficient way to gain diversified exposure to non-public assets with lower capital minimums, transparent fees, and greater liquidity.

While the traditional investing process is cumbersome, manual, and inefficient, we are redeveloping the entire system from the ground up, building a technology-first approach that makes it simple to discover, deploy and manage alternative investments.

Just as other platforms have revolutionized the financial industry (payments, lending, trading, etc), we are building the on-ramp for new journeys into alternatives by reducing complexity and putting usability at the core of our platform.

Who We Are:

Our team collectively brings decades of experience across the technology and investing landscape, and are looking to continue our growth alongside people that:

  • Make decisions based on data with a focus on delivering long term value

  • Think strategically, and can articulate what they are (and not) trying to accomplish

  • Take calculated risks, are open to possible failure, and continuously make progress

  • Are passionate about what we’re building and seek to constantly learn

  • Operate with a high degree of candor, authenticity, and transparency

Role Overview:

We are looking for a Senior Investor Relations Associate, a key position to deliver our mission of providing access to top-tier alternative fund managers for everyone. In this position you’ll help bridge Gridline’s investment products and client experience teams, helping drive the most seamless private market investment process in the industry.

You will engage current and prospective clients (high net-worth individuals, independent financial advisors, and family offices) in discussions focused on the value of alternative asset portfolios, assist with new client onboarding (virtual/in-person meetings) and participate in bespoke portfolio analysis for clients (analyzing the gap in alternatives allocation and building a non-correlated portfolio mix).

Responsibilities & Requirements:

  • Act as primary point of contact for all investment-related inquiries via a variety of channels; including email, phone, video and in-person meetings.

  • Educate current and prospective clients about our investment process and how Gridline can play a part in their portfolio construction.

  • Assist in day-to-day operations of client onboarding for the independent advisor channel and ensuring they have collateral needed to engage clients.

  • Plan and participate in investor conference calls and webinars in collaboration with the investment research team

  • Conduct bespoke portfolio analysis for clients (e.g., alternative asset allocations, portfolio perspectives, etc)

  • 5+ years of experience in an Investor Relations or other client-facing investment management role

  • Demonstrated skill and ability to handle assorted client questions and issues related to investing (including asset allocation recommendations, market perspectives, portfolio positioning, etc.)

  • Comfortable with high volumes of client interactions (this is an externally facing position)

  • Exceptional written and communication skills along with an acute attention to details

  • Proficiency with basic financial modeling in Microsoft Excel

  • Familiarity with investment management principles, asset allocation frameworks, and quantitative analysis

Even if you don’t meet all the qualifications for this position but are passionate about what we’re doing, we encourage you to apply — we’d love to hear from you.
